At the TransRockies Moab Fondo Fest, we're bringing you two incredible events, and the choice is yours – the Gran Fondo on Saturday or the Gravel Fondo on Sunday. Or, for the ultimate challenge, tackle both events back-to-back!
TransRockies Gran Fondo Moab - Saturday, May 4th, 2024
Prepare for a remarkable cycling experience as Gran Fondo Moab, one of Utah's premier Gran Fondo-style events, returns for another year!
This scenic journey will take you from Lions Park, our cozy and familiar launchpad from previous years, heading north along the quiet pathway adjacent to highway 191 for a safe and scenic ride. After the climb out of town, experience breathtaking vistas on highway 313, passing iconic landmarks like Merrimac and Monitor Buttes, Big Mesa, Plateau Viewpoint, and the Knoll, offering unforgettable views of Moab's stunning landscape. From there, riders will enjoy a mostly downhill return to Lions Park for post-ride celebrations with refreshments and camaraderie.
Gran Fondo Moab welcomes cyclists of all levels, featuring a mass start with overall and professionally timed results. With its mix of challenging climbs, rolling hills, flat stretches, and captivating scenery, this event promises a cycling experience that will linger in your memory for years to come.

TransRockies Gravel Fondo Moab - Sunday, May 5th, 2024
Get ready for a gravel adventure like no other! Join us as we kick off the inaugural TransRockies Gravel Fondo Moab.
Embark on a Journey: The ride begins along the rugged Gemini Bridges Road, where red rock formations and endless vistas will surround you. As you pedal past the iconic Gooney Bird rock, you'll know you're in the heart of Moab, and while making your way up the Gemini Bridges climb to Highway 313; panoramic views of the majestic Canyonlands surround you.
Epic Gravel Awaits: From here, the real adventure begins! You'll ride along Dubinky Well Road, where every pedal stroke rewards you with stunning desert views. The Moab gravel provides the perfect terrain for gravel lovers seeking the ultimate challenge. This path will have you meander south along the base of Mill Canyon, bringing you full circle as you return to Bar M.
Unforgettable Memories: Whether you're exploring the desert gravel for the first time or you're a seasoned rider seeking the next challenge, the Gravel Fondo Moab promises to etch an unforgettable memory into your cycling journey.

Gran Fondo - Once we turn on to highway 313, we are encouraging you to ride and race to the high point of the route at the Deadhorse and Canyonlands Junction. The top five men and woman will be timed to the KOM/QOM at this point.
Gravel Fondo - We are encouraging you to ride and race to the high point of the ride at the top of Gemini Bridges Road. The top five men and woman will be timed to the KOM/QOM at the top of Gemini Bridges Road and HWY 313.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
There are no refunds, roll-overs, or credit issued by Transrockies US LP if you cancel your entry. Transfers of entry to another participant for the Moab Fondo Fest event in 2024 may be permitted at the discretion of TransRockies US LP for an admin fee of $25.
Additional registration protection can be purchased through FanShield, which is a refund protection insurance for attendees. For a small premium, if you are unable to attend due to any of FanShield’s covered reasons, you have the option to file a refund request through them. TransRockies Inc reserves the right to cancel any TransRockies Race Series event, cancel race stages or change the route on short notice due to fire bans/fire closures, air quality, weather conditions, wildlife or safety concerns, pandemic, unforeseen construction, Acts of God or other such reasons with no reimbursement to the participant.
In the case of event cancellation by TransRockies US LP, no refunds will be available. All entries will be transferred to the next available date that the event is able to operate.
