TransRockies Race Packages

TransRockies an experience that no other event can. More remote, more wild, more epic, but with all the comfort, ammenities and conveniences that our customers have come to expect. Race Entry:

3, 4 or 7 Days of Racing.
You will receive a distinctive number plate for the World’s Premiere 7-day, 3-day and 4-day mountain bike stage races.

Remote and Spectacular Riding.
TransRockies is known worldwide for some of the most remote and spectacular mountain riding anywhere. We will take you over high mountain passes and through incredible rocky mountain single-track. Total distance will be between 150 and 200 km for TR3, about 220 km for TR4 and roughly 400 km for TransRockies.

World Class Rescue & Medical Support.
Our medical team has years of experience handling the most remote of evacuations on the TransRockies route.

Fully Stocked Check Points.
TransRockies offer 2 fully stocked aid-stations on each stage, plus an additional food tent at each finish line. Offering fruit, energy foods, electrolyte drink, snack foods, and water, you will find everything you need to get through each day!

Daily Awards and Overall Prizes.
Podiums will be recognized daily with special awards for the top 3 teams or riders in each of the official categories. Special Edition Leaders Jerseys will be awarded to the top rider(s) in each category. Great prize packages will also be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers in each category! We offer an overall purse of over $100,000 in cash, product and entry credits.

Daily Video and Photo Presentations.
TransRockies is famous for its daily video presentations. Every night we entertain a full house with the incredible scenery, inspiration, and humor from the day. Add to this the incredible still photography by our staff photographer and you’re guaranteed to go to bed inspired!

T-Shirts.
Receive a special edition TransRockies t-shirt at registration in Fernie.

Daily Secure Bike Storage.
We offer secure overnight monitored storage for your bike.

Professional Timing.
Timing by the Race Management Team means you have instant access to unofficial results at the end of each stage, and complete and accurate results on our website.

Massage Access.
Catalyst Sports Massage is ready to treat you at each finish line. Be sure to book in advance for this popular service. Massage is available on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Bike Service.
Neutral mechanical support is available at each stage, offering competitive street pricing. Our service providers offer a wide selection of replacement parts and overnight service.

Final Banquet.
Our Gala Finishers’ Banquet is included for all TR7 and TR4 competitors. TR3 participants can also purchase tickets to the final banquet.

Incredible Breakfasts.
Enjoy breakfast from our outstanding local caterer. Breakfasts include a wide variety of menu options including vegetarian and meat options, and always-hot Kicking Horse Coffee!

Amazing Dinners.
Our dinners set a new standard in event nutrition and enjoyment. A wide variety of meat and vegetarian dishes ensure that every diet and taste will be satisfied.

Tent Camping Package:

TransRockies Tent Service.
For the authentic TransRockies experience at an affordable price, we offer tent accommodation at each finish line. We provide the tent, we set it up, we take it down and move it. Spacious 3-person waterproof tents are available for single or double occupancy for TransRockies 7 and single occupancy only for TR3 and TR4. Tent service begins following Stage 2 and ends the morning of stage 7.

TransRockies Duffel Bag Service.
You get your own giant TransRockies Duffel Bag, large enough to carry all you need and more for 7-days on the trail. And, we transport your luggage for you from stage to stage so that you can leave your car at the start.

Hot Showers!
A great luxury after a long day in the woods, you gain access to our shower truck, complete with hot showers, sinks and mirrors.

Complete Camp Amenities.
Never fear, we always have ample toilets, garbage cans, and recycling facilities at our wilderness camps!

Vehicle Camping Package:

Overnight Camping Access for car/tent or RV camping.

If you’re not one for “roughing it” in a tent, upgrade to our Expedition RV package, which includes an RV for your team, driver, fuel, daily servicing, duffel bags, and airport transfers. Expedition RVs are available starting the evening of Aug. 6 until the morning of Aug. 13.

TransRockies No-Risk Cancellation Policy
At TransRockies, we understand that unforeseen circumstances sometimes come up that can prevent you from participating. While we can’t refund all your money, we’re happy to transfer your fees to next year with no penalty. We’d like you to make a commitment with a deposit, but we won’t hold you hostage with our cancellation fees. We also allow no-charge substitutions if you can’t make it, but you can find someone to take your spot.

TR3/TR4 Solo Cancellation Policy
Prior to May 1 – $200 of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event*
May 1 – July 1 – $500 of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event*
After July 1 – All fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event*

* For Solo Expedition Entries, an additional $1,000 will be retained, which is non-refundable.

TR7 Team Cancellation Policy
Prior to May 1 – $500 per team of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2012 event*
May 1 – July 1 – $1500 per team of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2012 event*
After July 1 – All fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event*

* For TransRockies Expedition Entries, an additional $1,000 will be retained, which is non-refundable.

Payment Methods
1. Credit Card. Please note that online international transactions are sometimes blocked by automated fraud detections. If your transaction is declined, please call your card issuer at the phone number on the back of your credit card to inquire. Usually they can then pre-approve the transaction prior to a second attempt.
2. Pay Pal. With Pay Pal, you can draw funds directly from your bank account or credit card.
3. Cheque/Money Order/Bank Draft. Make your cheque payable to TransRockies Inc., 806A 12 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2R 0E6. Payments not in Canadian Funds will be credited at the rate offered by our bank at the time of deposit.
4. Wire Transfer. If you are sending a bank transfer, please send us an email with your name, and the date and amount of your transfer. Contact us at registration@transrockies.com for our bank information.
