TransRockies Challenge Newsletter – July 8th, 2013

We’re only weeks away from the 12th and final TransRockies Challenge.  It’s been one amazing ride and we thank all of you for being a part of the original North American mountain bike stage race.

The last TransRockies Challenge will be an exciting one as we are close to finalizing revised routes for stages 4, 5 and 6 in Kananaskis Country.  With the recent flooding, bridges and roads were washed away making access to this area impossible for the foreseeable future.  From inspiration and desperation comes innovation.  With so many places to ride in the Rockies and Kootenays, we’re certainly not desperate, but we are inspired to innovate and create something fun and challenging.

The soon the be announced route will keep the format as close to the current one as possible: Stages 1-3 in Fernie, stages 4-6 camping and the final stage finishing in Canmore.  Please bear with us as we work with our partners at Alberta and B.C. Parks.  As soon as we have concrete details we will share them via newsletters, Facebook and on our website.  If you have any questions please call us at 1-866-373-3776 or 403-668-7537.

Still not signed up?  This is, literally, your last chance to ride the TransRockies Challenge. Join us!
