Fernie ups the Excitement in 2009

Reaching the finish line in Fernie is always a great moment for TransRockies competitors. After hundreds of kilometres of riding, thousands of metres of climbing and lots of moments of doubt and discomfort, the finish line experience is something to be shared and savored.
This year, Fernie is introducing a VIP finish line area so that your family and friends can celebrate the day with you in style. The VIP package includes reserved seating withing the traditional finish line beer tent along with your choice of champagnge, prosecco and local beer all kept ice cold for the celebration. Families who are in Fernie can also make their kids part of the cycling excitement through the Blackstone TransRockies Kids Bike Rally.
