While the TransRockies is designed to be a fully supported experience that can be completed without outside support, sometimes it is nice to have some personal attention from friends or family. We welcome hundreds of supporters traveling with the caravan each year and plan our infrastructure and camps to support these extra people. We encourage you to invite your friends and family to spend the week with us. There are a variety of recreational opportunities throughout the route and remember – if they are still looking for something to do, we have lots of volunteer opportunities.

Supporter Vehicle Pass
TR7 – $250 + GST (per vehicle)
TR3 – $100 + GST (per vehicle)
TR4 – $100 + GST (per vehicle)

Supporters in the camps can expect access to the following amenities, all included in the Camping Pass:

  • Guaranteed site access and parking for one vehicle
  • Tent or RV space
  • Access to toilets
  • Access to showers (off-peak times)
  • Access to garbage disposal
  • Admission to daily ceremonies
  • Printed stage-to-stage driving directions for the entire week
  • Vehicle identification decal

The Camping Pass is valid at all stages where we have camps (finishes of stages 2-6). In Fernie and Canmore, there is no designated tent camping but an RV area is available.

Camping areas will be controlled and you will not be able to enter without a pass. This pass covers one vehicle of any size (including trailer/tow vehicle packages). We will provide driving instructions for support drivers. These passes will be available in advance, at sign-in and at the individual stage venues.

Camping Passes may be added to your online registration. Only 150 passes are available.

Meal Pass
TR7 $ 350 + GST (per person) / $250 for kids age 4-10 – includes finishers banquet
TR3 $ 170 + GST (per person) / $120 for kids age 4-10 – does not include finishers banuet
TR4 $225 + GST (per person) / $170 for kids age 4-10 – includes finishers banquet

Supporters may take part in the daily breakfasts and dinners with this pass. Includes seven (6) breakfasts (July 29 – August 3) and seven (7) dinners July 28 – August  3), including the always memorable Finishers’ Banquet and Closing Ceremonies. Supporter Tent Camping Package
TR7 – $250 + GST (per tent)
TR3 – $100 + GST (per tent)
TR4 – $100 + GST (per tent)

Need a place for your supporters to sleep? Rent a tent from us and we will set it up and take it down at every camp (following stages 2-6). Tents are 7′x7′ backpacking tents. Also includes an additional duffel bag and bag service.

Additional Tent Packages may be added to your online registration.

Finishers’ Banquet
$50 + GST ($30 for kids ages 4-10, free for ages 0-3) (per person)

Don’t forget to reserve banquet tickets for your friends, family and supporters! This memorable evening includes final awards presentations, finishers presentations, photo and video presentations and other entertainment.
