Welcome to the Features section of the TransRockies site. There’s a lot more to talk about than registration when it comes to the adventure that is the TransRockies bike race, and we’re excited to have some dedicated space here to post articles on a variety of topics, including training and nutrition information.
The race experience is uniquely different for each and every rider, depending on your fitness level, your expectations for the race and the dynamics of your race relationship with your riding partner. Not everyone is looking for the same information leading up to the event, but we hope that everyone will find something of interest in this section. We also welcome feedback, and we encourage you to visit the TransRockies Forums to share your thoughts on the articles posted here. If you are blogging or otherwise posting somewhere online the stories of your own training adventures leading up to TransRockies VII this August, let us know. We will do our best to share your links on our site, and we encourage you to interact with other racers, past and present, to enrich your TR experience. We know that each and every one of you has a story to tell, and we love to hear them, so keep us posted.
