Revved up and ready to run? We’re pleased to announce our 2012 registration details. Online Registration opens August 27, 2011 at 10 AM Mountain Time with some great early bird incentives to kick things off early. 6-Day Team Event
August 14-19, 2012
Buena Vista to Beaver Creek, CO
120 miles, 20,000 feet of climbing
Field Limit – 180 teams of two – 75% sold out in 2011


Now in its 6th year, the original epic TransRockies Run stage race for teams of two takes you on an epic journey from Buena Vista to Beaver Creek of 6 incredible days of Rocky Mountain running. TransRockies Run is the running adventure of a lifetime!

3-Day Solo Option
August 14-16, 2012
Buena Vista to Camp Hale, CO
59 miles, 8,400 feet of climbing
Field Limit – 100 solo runners – SOLD OUT in 2011


Crossing the Continental Divide and spectacular Hope Pass, RUN3 packs miles and miles of 10,000 foot views into 3 incredible days. RUN3 will give you a perfect introduction to the TransRockies Run experience but requiring less time and money, and no partner.

Spectacular and Well Marked Stages: All 6 stages on our route are great runs, with lots of fun trail and beautiful mountain landscapes – don’t forget to pack your camera! And, since nothing can ruin your day faster than getting lost, we make sure our routes are all very well marked by our highly experienced course crew.
Friendly and Supportive Checkpoints: Our checkpoint teams are sprinkled throughout the course at regular intervals, offering a wide variety of nutritional options to refuel and keep on going. And our friendly checkpoint teams will always offer a smile and encouraging words (and sometime a little goofiness) to keep you energized and on your way! And at the finish line, you’ll find a bonus checkpoint to get you started with post-ride recovery!
Incredible Meals: The meals program offers great taste, nutrition and variety to meet everyone’s requirements and wishes. Even in the remote tent camps at we offer food that is plentiful, delicious, and healthy.
Fully Supported Wilderness Camps: We offer 5 nights in tent camps, which are fully supported with tents (set-up and take-down included), duffel bags and bag transport, hot showers, plentiful toilets, waste management and recycling services!
World-Class Medical: We partner with a world class medical team offering expert emergency medical assistance on-course and in camp. At each finish line you will find trained medics and athletic therapists ready to help with any complaint.
Luggage Service: When you finish each day – you’ll find your bag conveniently located next to the tent camp. And the next morning simply drop it at the truck and we’ll move it to the next camp for you!
Customer Service Team: At every finish and in camp, our crew is there to help. If you need anything, simply ask at the race office or any of our crew.
Daily Presentations: Nothing brings a great day to an a close quite like reliving the highs and lows on the big screen! Along with daily awards presentations, we bring you daily slide shows and video presentations from our team of professional photographers and videographers.
End to end transportation: From the time you leave the start line to the final finish, we cover all your transportation within the event. Some stages have short transfers between the start or finish and camp – and your ride will be waiting!
Professional Timing: Timing by Authentic Timing means you have instant access to unofficial results at the end of each stage, and complete and accurate results on our website.
Massage Access: Our team of massage therapists are ready to treat you at each camp. Massage is available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Campfires: Relax and hang out around our campfires, the heart of our camps. Open for business after each stage until bed-time, the campfire and expo area are a place to relax, socialize, and refuel.

TransRockies No-Risk Cancellation Policy

At TransRockies, we understand that unforeseen circumstances sometimes come up that can prevent you from participating. While we can’t refund all your money, we’re happy to transfer your fees to next year with no penalty. We’d like you to make a commitment with a deposit, but we won’t hold you hostage with our cancellation fees. We also allow no-charge substitutions if you can’t make it, but you can find someone to take your spot.

RUN3 Solo Cancellation Policy
Prior to May 15 – $200 of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event
May 16 – July 15 – $500 of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event
After July 15 – All fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event

TRR Team Cancellation Policy
Prior to May 15 – $500 per team of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event
May 16 – July 15 – $1500 per team of fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event
After July 15 – All fees will be retained as a credit for the 2013 event
