Six stages. Six days. Six reasons.

Everyone comes to an endurance race for his or her own personal reasons. For some it will be the pursuit of a new and truly authentic experience, some will be looking to set a new benchmark for their life, and some will simply show up for some amazing, outrageous fun. What they all can count on is that the GORE-TEX™ TransRockies Run will set the stage, and stages, for them to pursue their goals.

Six reasons to run the GORE-TEX™ TransRockies Run:

  • Many runners know the positive experience that comes with a partner. Now imagine what can happen when, as a pair, you share a great challenge. However, based on past events, we can promise that even though each team will run the route, every participant will recall the experience a bit differently.
  • To create a similar experience on your own would be a monster of logistics and calling in favors from family and friends. For a low entry fee you get the ability to enjoy the journey and the destinations while we look after the details.
  • If you’ve ever been impressed by watching nature films about great migrations, wait until you get swept up in the emotion and energy of being part of one. The vibe is something like your local 10k race, except that it lasts for a whole week.
  • And unlike a 10k road race where you might get brief glimpses of great sights, during the GORE-TEX™ TransRockies Run you’ll literally be motivated by what awaits around every turn. In fact, in some cases, this event might be the only time you venture into these incredible areas.
  • You’ll finally have a great excuse to pick up some great new gear you’ve always wanted to try out.
  • And perhaps the best reason of all is the experience of crossing the finish line and celebrating the experience with 300 of your newest friends.
